1. Acceptance

By downloading or playing Gemstone Rhapsody ("the Game"), you agree to these Terms, and to the terms of the store you obtained the Game from: on iPhone and iPad, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to all App Store apps; on Android, the Google Play Terms of Service.

2. License

Wycliffe Partners Limited grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to play the Game on Apple or Android devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Virtual Items

The Game includes an in-game currency ("Notes") that can be earned by playing or bought in optional bundles. Notes and everything they unlock:

• have no real-world monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash;
• are non-transferable and tied to the device they were earned or bought on;
• may be spent on boosters, continues, refills and other items that assist a run; the same Notes are earned by playing, and no purchase is ever required to play or to progress;
• never buy progress itself: restoration of the opera house is earned by playing and is not for sale;
• may be lost if you delete the app or use the in-game "Delete my data" option; purchases of consumable bundles cannot be re-restored after the Notes are granted.

Purchases are processed by the store you bought them from, and refunds are handled exclusively by that store under its own policies: on iPhone and iPad by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com), and on Android by Google Play (Google Play refunds).

4. Advertising

The Game shows optional, player-initiated rewarded ads provided by Google AdMob. On iPhone and iPad, adverts are non-personalised unless you have allowed tracking in response to Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you decline, or have not answered, the Game does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. On Android there is no such prompt: the Game declares the Google advertising ID permission, and you reset or delete that identifier, and turn off ad personalisation, in your device's own Google Ads settings. To deliver, cap and measure those ads, Google receives a device identifier that is not linked to your identity. Ad content is provided by third parties; Wycliffe Partners Limited does not endorse advertised products. See our Privacy Policy for what data ads involve.

5. Fair Use

You agree not to reverse engineer, resell, exploit, or interfere with the Game or its ad and purchase systems.

6. Music Credits

The Game includes public-domain and Creative Commons–licensed classical recordings, credited on the in-game Music Credits screen, together with further material licensed or created for the Game.

7. Disclaimer & Liability

The Game is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wycliffe Partners Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date above will reflect any revision. Continued play after changes constitutes acceptance.
